Beautiful landscape on the Sucre-Potosi road continued further towards Potosi. We decided to stop at Potosi for the night. Since we had data now, searching and booking the room was not that hard.

The eye of the salt is a clear salted water pool bubbling out from below the ground in the middle of the salar salt plains.

Dakar monument

In the middle of the salt plains is the monument commemorating the Dakar race held in the salar in 2014. There are llama figurines made of salt nearby. We stopped there for a while.
Worldwide flags

Near the Dakar monument, there is a place where one can find flags from quite a few countries in the world. Hristo found the Bulgarian flag and I found 2 Indian flags. Unfortunately, no Swedish flag 😯
