  • Great Evening!

    September 4, 2018 in Germany ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

    Hey there!

Still I had to make a lot of kilometers today it was a day with a great end. I did around 670 km today throigh germany to brunswick. I wanted to see the new movie „Whatever may come“ by Christian Vogel.

Well the distance today was the most on highway so boring and exhausting. I think I don‘t need to tell you more about that.

My destination today was Brunswick in Lower Saxony. I wanted to see the movie premiere of the movie "Whatever may come" by Christian Vogel (Link Below). So I drove off at 9 clock, visited a friend in Ludwigshafen and then drove to Brunswick. Seven hours of highway and about 600km were really anything but nice but unfortunately I had to do this to be on time for the film in Brunswick.

At 18:30 clock I arrived in Brunswick. It was close because I had reserved a ticket which I should pick up half an hour before the movie starts. So I decided to park my bike right in front of the cinema in the pedestrian area. Of course it caught the eye, but that was not so bad considering the topic and the people. It spoke to one of the people - Thilo - and asked me if I wanted to go to the movies. Of course, I said and started talking to him. He and his buddy were two funny guys and we got along directly. When I got my ticket he even organized a free drink for me and I suddenly had a great seat in the cinema. Then it started at 19 o'clock. Two hours "Whatever may come". As many emotions as this film brought you can not put into words. It was funny, sad, impressive and much more. If you have the opportunity to watch the movie in the cinema then do it. On the other hand, soon the DVD will be released which is definitely worth every cent.
At the end of the performance, Christian Vogel personally answered questions.

After everyone left the cinema, we decided to have something to eat. Meanwhile, Thilo had offered me a place to sleep for the night, which I accepted.

Tomorrow I'm going to Cologne to my good friend Lisa. I hope this time with less highway!

    Good night

  • The Ferry to Denmark

    September 6, 2018 in Germany ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

It‘s done. I leave Germany and look forward to denmark and the trans euro trail of denmark.
I‘m on the ferry between Puttgarden and Rødby. It‘s absolutely scary to be on a shopping mall during a earthquake. You feel like to be on an airport with all these restaurants and „bordershops tax free“.Read more

  • SWEDEN!

    September 8, 2018 in Sweden ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C

Wonderful first day in sweden. After riding the Öresund bridge between denmark and sweden I started the TET Sweden. A lot more offroad then in denmark! Lot of fun! By the way it is much more difficult to find a wild camping spot because of all those small houses. The law says you have to be away min. 400 meters to the next house. But I found something and relax with a small fire (in a safe area) and become ready for tomorrow.Read more

  • Sweden - Stockholm

    September 9, 2018 in Sweden ⋅ 🌙 16 °C

Sweden - The blue and yellow country. It's just awesome. The nature, the feeling, the air. I'm really happy that I really did it until here. Stockholm is a great city and you can see a lot here. I was the whole week in Stockholm out in the archipelago and really enjoyed.

In Stockholm you should visit the Fotografiska Art Musuem. There are sometimes different kind of galleries and the new and modern art of photography is really nice and interesting to see.

More Pics and Information End of the week :-)

  • Wonderful last evening in sweden

    September 15, 2018 in Sweden ⋅ 🌙 10 °C

I was in Uppsala and on my last post you saw me drinking a chai latte in a tiny espresso house in the city. I talked to a local and get the information that there will be a circus performance out in the woods tonight. And I decided to join..

One of the best evenings on the whole trip. It was a circus performance of the Kompanie Fabolusa and the had a performance called „Headless“. It was a mix between comedy and fire art. Absolutely amazing, great people and I laughed more this evening that the whole two weeks before!

  • Helsinki!

    September 17, 2018 in Finland ⋅ ⛅ 13 °C

Not planned! But how do you say "No plan is a good plan." Last week I decided to make a day trip to the city of Helsinki. So I was even in Finland. After a very short but funny night in Tallinn, I drove to Helsinki this morning with the 6 o'clock ferry and of course was promptly greeted by Finnish weather. Rain. After the city overflowed at about 9 o'clock, I'm driving out of the city for a coffee and a modest breakfast. So I drank a Coke in "Vaanta" and dried myself and warmed up. Now that some hours have passed and the rain has stopped I will explore the city for a while! We'll talk later. :-)

PS: Seems like the Finnish people aren‘t energetic early in the morning. All over the ferry people laid on the ground and were sleeping!

Riga was a beautiful. Meet some friends here I didn‘t saw for a long time. The town is indeed the Paris of the north with its old city and the fantastic atmosphere. And it‘s soo cheap. For a taxi, I pay in Switzerland about 20 bucks you pay here 4€ 😂👌

Tomorrow I go to Lithuania. Have to make a lot of kilometers to reach Berlin on Saturday evening. :/

  • Lithuana and Poland

    September 21, 2018 in Lithuania ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

Unfortunately, I hadn‘t that much time to compare Lithuania with the other Baltic countries Estonia and Latvia. But Lithuania seems like that it‘s more similar to Poland than for example Estonia and Latvia with Russia. I Visited the Hill of Crosses in Lithuania. Nobody knows how much Cruzifix are there, but it seems like there are more than 20‘000 of them!!!
I‘m not into religion, but it‘s a fantastic location you have to visit!

I crossed the border of Lithuania and Poland at the „Three Country Corner“ with Kaliningrad which is part of Russia. It‘s sad that we have such guarded borders in Europe. Officially it is forbidden to take pictures of Russian soil. Did it anyway and then I drove away quickly.

In the evening I reached Poland, and the gone headquarter of Adolf Hitler „Wolfsschanze.“ It‘s on the one hand very impressively and on the other hand very depressive if you know how much pain was planned and executed from this place.

So I have to reach Berlin on Saturday evening! See you :)

  • Eastern Germany

    September 23, 2018 in Germany ⋅ 🌧 11 °C

Hello! I drive through East Germany on the way to the Czech Republic. I visited her at Rakotzbrücke, got stuck in the dirt and got wet .. a little bit. After a cool evening in Berlin at the Wampen, I drove with a friend further south towards Rakotzbrücke. This bridge was built from 1863 to 1882 and spans the Rakotzsee. Unfortunately, the bridge and the drum is being renovated so the atmosphere was not very nice. Maybe it was also due to the heavy rain: D When we wanted to leave the parking lot at the Rakotzbrücke I turned my Africa Twin and came a bit to the edge. I thought "No problem getting out of this". Well it did not work. I had to unload the machine, overturn and set it up again. In the evening we reached friends and came there dry and warm. Totally wet! Continue to Prague!Read more

Met some really nice couchsurfers there and the people are so nice! I was allowed to park my Africa Twin inside of the hostel (tight but works) :D

Found my tyres really cheap and decided to buy front and rear tyre :) Mitas E-07/E-07+ Dakar.
