Day 1 - Arrival

Finally- Meeting Cathal and Ross in the Irish Mountains. Cathal‘s family owns a beautiful old cottage in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. And we are here for a few days to enjoy nature, celebrate old friendships and act out one of the best movies ever made. I am hoping though I did not come on holidays by a dreadful mistake and I am looking forward to a couple of days in the wild Irish nature with Cathal and Ross.
Arrived at Dublin airport and Cathal picked me up. From there we had a short trip to IKEA to pick up some stuff and did some food shopping. Went to the cottage near Glendalough, right beside the national park. It’s a beautiful old cottage of Cathal‘s family. Ross joined us just in time for dinner and we had a lovely catch up. Went for a night walk to the lake just below the cottage and it was magical in the moonlight and under the stars. Then we all went to bed with our hot water bottle.
