Today was the beginning of our long road trip home. We got an early start as we had a long drive through NH and Vermont to our hotel in NY. United StatesWhen researching our route home I discovered that NY state had a wine growing region with 60 wineries. This area is known especially for its riesling wine. The growers are mostly small family run vineyards with limited production. We stopped at 7 different wineries and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wines.
