Next on the agenda was a relax at a beach. Sounds good doesn't it? The beach was small, the swimming area was smaller still (hemmed in by boats and floats) and there were many other boat loads of people, mostly Chinese. There were a huge number of deckchairs lined up, under cover behind the beach. There was also a restaurant full of people. But only a handful of people in the water.
Nevertheless most of us had a swim. The water temperature was just right.
For those who wanted there was a 'shower' available - a bucket of water with a scoop which you took to a change room to throw over yourself! It cost 10,000 Dong (about 75 cents).
After that we sailed on further and stopped for lunch out on the island that Vinpearl was on at Con Se Tre Tourist Village. Several dishes were brought out - oysters, calamari, eggplant, salad, fish soup etc. Then it was back to port and rest time.Read more
