I woke up to a beautiful sunny day. Today I dedicated myself to nature, fresh air and a whole lot of walking. How wonderful to have a national park at your doorstep. Two and a half km into my walk I ran into Ross Castle and the Leane Lough lake and a whole crew of rowers. It was amazingly warm at 14 degrees and I was in my glory walking. Everyone her is so friendly saying how ya going, and extremely fit. Not much smoking here thank goodness. I came across the strangest deer in the forest. It looked like a mix between a leprechaun, sheep dog, sheep and deer. Check out the picture, the strangest looking deer. There were also huge elk in the park and lots of bamboo. The flora and fauna is very different with tropical and deciduous trees. Did some grocery shopping at Dunnes where prices are great, not as great as Slovakia though.
