Cape Split

Several people recommended that we check out Cape Split. We saw Cape Split from the other side of the Bay of Fundy while we were at Cape d’Or (a lighthouse).

Kejimkujik National Park

Kejimkujik is an absolute gem! It is a forest reserve around a series of lakes with some old growth and the views are exquisite! We spent the day hiking trails and enjoying the views.
Lunenburg

Finally some really nice weather a perfect day to explore Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. First stop was the Bluenose II, it must be something to see it sailing on the water.

Peggy’s Cove

Halifax

Today was our day to spend time in Halifax. We walked along the harbour front. There was a massive cruise ship docked when we arrived so we ended up looking like just another passenger.

Cabot Trail

Woke up a bit earlier, we were camped in a church parking lot and mass was starting at 9:00. Found a nice spot for breakfast at Baddeck, then onto the Cabot Trail.

The Perfect End

We got an actual camping site in the National Park. It was on a cliff with a magnificent view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Went for a walk on the beach, followed by a little dinner.

Louisbourg and More

Fredericton - Shippagan

Spent the weekend with Renée in Fredericton. We went to the market, watched her basketball game, played some disc golf, visited the art gallery, fine food and great conversations.
