    Removal of the L7PK jacket

    As from 17-12 the DEME Innovation moved to the L7CC for removal of the L7PK jacket , after the preparations (cutting of the legs ) the jacket is successfully lifted 21-12.
    The DEME Innovation arrived in Vlissingen 22-12 to unload the collected items at the Sagro demolition yard.Read more

  • Removal L7BB topside and jacket

    As form 06-12 the preparations started for removal of the L7BB topside and jacket, 06-12 the L7BB topside is lifted , thereafter the L7BB jacket is prepared (cutting legs under the seabed) and 13-12 the jacket has been lifted.Read more

  • Removal L7B -2 module

    On 03 December the L7B-2 module was removed form the L7B platform , L7B-1 module with the celleardeck will stay in place , L7BB-B bridge , L7BB topside and the L7BB jkacket to be lifted.

  • 2025 L7CC-L7B-BB Removal campaign

    23-11-2025 the 2025 removal campaign has started in Middlesborough by mobilizing the DEME Innovation HLJUV (heavy lifting jack up vessel) for the removal of L7B3 & B2 module and L7BB topside and the L7C/Q/PK jacket and P2-P6S module of L7P.
    25-11 sailed from the UK to L7B-BB and arrival at L7B-BB and jacked up 26-11 at 11:00.
    Preparations are made for first lift the L7B-3 module.

  • Toppling and demolition L7PK

    July 25 in Norway ⋅ ☁️ 18 °C

    The L7PK is toppled and the demolition has started , the final module of the project to be demolished in Vats .

    The remaining parts of L7CC and L7B will be transported and demolished in the Netherlands at the Sagro decom yard in Vlissingen end of 2025.

  • Toppling and demolition of L7Q1 Module

    Medio April/May the L7Q1 module has been toppled fully upside down to make the demolition with the Big scissor more easy, unfortunately TEPNL has not been on site to make some pictures of the demolition, the module has been fully demolished at the end of May.Read more

  • Demolition L7C started

    March 5 in Norway ⋅ 🌧 7 °C

    05 March the L7C has been tipped over and the demolition started.
    On the 8th of March the L7C has been toppled again on its side to improve and speed up the demolition , on 11-03 the complete topside was cut in pieces..
    After this part the Jackets L7H&N ,L7Q1, L7P1 and the L7PK are remaining.

  • Demolition works Norway Q1 2024

    Some demolition progress over the last months: L7Q East and West , P6N with offices and Control room are completely demolished, P5 module with the turbine hall, L7C,L7PK , L7Q Cellar deck and the L7P1 module are ready for toppling over and demolition.
    L7N Jacket is the first jacket toppled and being demolished.

  • Load in of the Barge 3

    As from the 3rd of December the load in activities started of the Barge 3 carrying the Jackets of L7A/H/N on 04-12 the L7A jacket was set ashore, on 06-12 the barge was turned and the L7H jacket was set ashore, finally on 08-12 the L7N jacket was removed from the barge , this was the last barge for the season 2024 to be unloaded in Vats Norway , let see what's next in 2025 , Merry X-mass everybody and a happy (and destructive) 2025 ;-).Read more

  • Removal Jackets L7A,L7H & L7N

    October 10, 2024, North Sea ⋅ 🌬 12 °C

    In September/October the jackets of the L7A, L7H and finally the L7N are removed and placed on the barge in Den Helder with the use of crane Barge "Rambiz" of company Scaldis.
    The L7N jacket landed safely on the barge at 05-10.
    Barge was towed to AF decom yard in Vats Norway at Thursday 17 October and arrived in Vats 19 October.

  • Lifting of P5,P6N,L7PK and L7C

    May 15, 2024, North Sea ⋅ ☀️ 13 °C

    In the period 09-05 and 10-05 the "P5" module and the "Qwest" module were lifted by Hebolift 10 (P5) and Matador 3 (QW)
    Q west was the last lift on the second barge and the barge left shortly after installation and sea fastening.(picture in next footprint)
    At 18-05 the "P6North" module (facilitating former offices and Controlroom...) was removed from L7P .
    At 26-05 the L7PK top side was lifted by Hebolift 10 and at 18-06 the L7C top side was lifted from L7CC to complete the third barge.

  • One more dual lifting day at L7-CC!

    May 10, 2024, North Sea ⋅ ☁️ 18 °C

    On Thursday the 10th of May, two more modules from the L7-P & L7-Q platforms were taken away from the L7 Central Complex and safely brought back to transportation barges, moored at Den Helder.

    By lifting the remaining of the living quarter top modules, the first barge of the year 2024 had been completed and carefully towed to Vats, Norway for further recycling of the lifted modules!

    While involving both the Matador 3 and the Hebolift 10 for a sequenced operation, achieved within 12hrs, the transportation barges at Den Helder followed a similar sequence, with the first barge departure and following arrival to accommodate the freshly lifted L7-P module.

    Seven more offshore lifts to go for the 2024 year!
