Temple of Heaven

We visited the Temple of Heaven. It's located inside a huge and amazing park. We also saw squirrels there!

Yonghe Temple

We went to the Yonghe Temple, also known as the Yonghe Lamasery, or popularly as the Lama Temple, a temple and monastery of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism located in Dongcheng District. The Czytaj więcej
Hot Pot

We had lunch with the famous Hot Pot. Wee took some beef and mutton meat and vegetables (potatoes, mushrooms, lotus flower roots).

Ping Pong Shop

Of course we couldn't resist two weeks without playing some table tennis.
So we found a ping pong shop. We bought some rubbers, a blade and some balls.

Roasted Duck

Tess, a very nice girl we met and who speaks english really well, brought us
to a really good restaurant to let us try the famous Beijing Roasted Duck.
It was so delicious! It's a must-try food if Czytaj więcej
Great Wall Hiking

We read on the internet about a really nice itinerary from Jiankou to Mutianyu, the wild part of the great wall.
We took a taxi from Beijing to the Xizhazi village (2 hours trip) and we started Czytaj więcej
The Forbidden City

For the last day we visited the Forbidden City. We had to buy the ticket in advance to go there because only (ONLY?!) 80.000 tickets are sold for each day.

Tiananmen Square

We went to Tian'anmen Square. It is within the top ten largest city squares in the world and it has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history. The Czytaj więcej
The End

This is my last footprint. Our amazing travel comes to an end. At this point we go back to Italy very happy and with a lot of good thoughts about China and all the beautiful things we saw and the Czytaj więcej
