All in all, it took us 12 hours with some stops to get home
Intermittent rains here and there, but for most of the day, we were lucky to escape it

A short 5 minutes drive put us on the grounds of Birch Point Campgrounds where we happily walked to the lake and even took a short stroll around the place before heading back to our own cabin toBaca lagi
Once more this was a late start, but somewhat planned.
To finish off yesterday, we were so tired after the hike (which took us a total of 5.5 hours, incl. all the breaks) that we collapsed into theBaca lagi
Shortly after the switch, we came upon this lovely picnic area and had our lunch (which, if I haven't mentioned before, consisted of hard-boiled eggs, bananas, and apples for all hikes).

As stated, it is quite an enjoyable hike.
At one point, we took another short break in one of the huts (after we had our picnic lunch - see next footprint) : quite impressive setup and again one hasBaca lagi
We used this cut to switch to Riverside trail which proved to be quite comfy, being much more shaded, and the views didn't hurt either 😊
And so it is quite understandable that we got up and ultimately ventured out LATE!
It rained more through the night, but by the mid-morning, the skies were clear, and the sun was shiningBaca lagi
