Fab breakfast brought to our garden house bedroom.
A long days riding of 90km, some into headwind. A lot of roads crossing estuaries.

Cycling briskly to Breskens helped to generate some heat. Ferry to Vlissingen.

Bought tickets to Gent and then realised that trains weren’t running well.
Arrived Gent at midday walked straight to nearby Fine Arts museum. Admired paintings.

Rough crossing - force 8. Dry but windy on arrival in Zeebrugge.
Warm in Bruges, delightful hosts for vrienden op de fiets who also run a B&B.
Brewery tour, mussels and beer.
Train delays due to signal fault at Selby. Hull very wet - soaked on ride to ferry terminal.
