Pump out on birthday :)

Today is my birthday and "black water" pump out day.

I was called in from the buoy by the Marina to conduct my "Pump out". This is a discharge of toilet residuals from our catamaran.

It is easy.

A hose is connected to the boat's black water tank, making sure it's airtight. Then, a vacuum is created in the tank. Water is pumped in for flushing and then sucked out again. This process is repeated several times, and you're done. It took me ten minutes. The environment benefits, and the coral reefs are protected.

It is included in the payment for the buoy.Read more
