Lao Chai

Still walking into the next village of Lao Chai.

Lao Chai village is 6 km from Sapa and is the beginning of a Muong Hoa valley.

This was also our lunch stop at our driver, Mr Kien's, cafe and home. Lunch was nice and the wait staff was basiccaly his very young son. John also had a lovely conversation with one of the black H'Mong girls trying to sell her wares. Her english was quite good. John asked about the embrodied items she was selling she explained that her mother made some but the others were from China. She was a very funny and honest so John gave her something for her conversation.

After lunch no more walking but back in the car for a short drive to the hotel for a free afternoon and rest.

Not sure how far we walked to day, at least 4 km.Les mer
