Heading to Malolo Island

Catching the Transfer boat to the Funky Fish Surf Resort.
All our luggage has been bagged up to stop it from getting wet. There are two other couples on the boat so 6 of us in total. Sam and I sit up the front by ourselves thinking we will enjoy the scenery, best-laid plans it seems!
The water is rough and it starts bucketing down about 15 mins into our transfer. The rain feels like needles going into your skin and we are soaked and being thrown around on the boat, trying to cling to our cushion as there is nothing to hold on to lol at this point I'm just happy we have a cushion as the banging up and down is relentless! And some point the captain takes pity on Sam and gives him his jacket, which Sam wears like a dress but is covered.
The clouds are dark and it suddenly feels like we are in the movie "The Perfect Storm"
