248 kilometres from home. Stopped for a cuppa. Experienced a bit of a mishap, one of my ear plugs was stuck in my ear! Sorted out, assisted by the girls in the cafe. So, another reason to stop hereLeia mais
Small kangaroo/wallabie ran out about 50 metres in front of me, I think the noise of the bike made it hop faster. Lots of tight bends at the top end, dusk coming quickly, note to myself, only rideLeia mais
340 kilometres for the day. $58 for a single room, shower across the hall. Enjoying a schooner of black, still a bit buzzy from the ride. The XCT rode well, very pleased. The exhaust note is good,Leia mais
Easy ride via Dungog,
Two of Neil's old mates volunteer at the local museum. For years neither knew that each of them knew Neil. So we popped in for a chat.
Arrived at my destination for the next 5 nights. A step up from last night's accommodation!
Stopped for morning tea, 280 certified bends to get here.
An amazing piece of nature. A gouge in the earth, a very deep natural slate gorge.
Lunch stop, just the cafe's home made pie.
