🇩🇪 Am Samstag steht mal wieder etwas sozialer Kontakt an. Finn und Alex sind am Freitag mit einem Boot zu den Gili Islands gefahren und haben dort eine Nacht verbracht. Dazu am Ende des Textes etwas mehr.

Criquet habe ich in der Yoga Barn und ist Beziehungscoach. Wir hatten ein gutes Gespräch und hatten uns daher zum Mittagessen verabredet. Ich habe sie von zu Hause abgeholt und dann sind wir an die Ostküste von Bali in die Nähe vom Strand gefahren, um dort etwas zu essen. Während des Essens haben sich dann auch die Details ihres Coachings etwas kristallisiert. Sie hilft Leuten nicht bei regulären Beziehungen, sondern bei sogenannten "Polyamoren" Beziehungen, also mit mehreren Partnern gleichzeitig. Sie selbst hat aktuell 4 Partner und ich konnte viel über eine für mich bis dato fremde Welt kennenlernen. Neben diesem Thema haben wir vor allem auch einiges über die geschäftliche Seite ihrer Tätigkeit gesprochen, da mich Unternehmen und Selbstständigkeit eigentlich immer interessieren. Ohne genaue Zahlen zu nennen kann sie jedoch mit Klienten ganz gut verdienen. Im Anschluss sind wir noch etwa 7km den Strand lang spaziert. Über den Tag habe ich mir dann auch meinen ersten ordentlichen Sonnenbrand hier zugezogen. Im Anschluss habe ich Criquet dann wieder zurückgefahren und hab die Jungs am Abend wieder in der Villa getroffen.

Nun zurück zum Schluss zu den Gili Islands. Die sind für drei Sachen bekannt: Es gibt keine motorisierten Fortbewegungsmittel auf der Insel. Es gibt lediglich Fahrräder und Pferdekutschen. Es gibt wunderschöne Tauch- und Schnorchelorte rund um die Inseln. Und als letztes und für manche nicht zu unwichtig: Es wird der Verkauf und Konsum von sogenannten "Shrooms" toleriert. Das sind Pilze die Halluzinogene erzeugen, simpel gesagt sie machen "high". Das lustige daran ist, dass Alex während seines besonderen Zustandes eine Ziege gefunden hat, die genau so drauf aussieht wie er und ein hervorragendes Bild mit ihr gemacht hat. 🇺🇸 On Saturday, it's time for some social contact again. Finn and Alex took a boat to the Gili Islands on Friday and spent the night there. More on that at the end of the text.

I met Criquet at the Yoga Barn, and she is a relationship coach. We had a good conversation and therefore arranged to meet for lunch. I picked her up from her place, and then we drove to the east coast of Bali near the beach to eat. During the meal, the details of her coaching became clearer. She doesn't help people with regular relationships but with so-called "polyamorous" relationships, meaning with multiple partners at the same time. She currently has 4 partners, and I was able to learn a lot about a world that was foreign to me until now. Besides this topic, we mostly talked about the business side of her activity, as businesses and self-employment always interest me. Without mentioning exact figures, she can earn quite well with clients. Afterwards, we walked about 7km along the beach. Over the day, I also got my first serious sunburn here. Afterwards, I drove Criquet back and met the guys again in the villa in the evening.

Now back to the Gili Islands. They are known for three things: There are no motorized vehicles on the island. There are only bicycles and horse-drawn carriages. There are beautiful diving and snorkeling spots around the islands. And lastly, and importantly for some: The sale and consumption of so-called "Shrooms" are tolerated. These are mushrooms that produce hallucinogens, simply put, they make you "high".
