TravelerI’m surprised that there are so many unrestrained dogs as on the section to Rome they were all fenced in. Due to my love of dogs (not) I won’t be walking from Rome down south! You are a trooper!
Carmel CarlsenIn my experience, the dogs in the UK, France, Switzerland and northern Italy, were, on the whole, behind fences or restrained. I had one dog go me in France (nothing serious), and two unpleasant dog encounters in Italy in 2024. Nothing like what I'm dealing with here daily.
