    Uluru Walk Walk Walk

    September 21, 2018 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 17 °C

Today it was pouring with rain, we waited 1 hour for it to die down. We drove to Uluru and went to the cultural center. We learnt about symbols in the Aboriginal paintings. We were told a story of a snake and a poisonous snake fighting because the snakes nephew was torchered by the poisonous snake as punishment, in their tribe if you punishment someone you have to nurse them back to health, but the poisonous snake didn't so the lady snake killed him, the morral was to follow tribal rules. We went to Ayers Rock, we had a water backpacks to try out. We walked round the rock, it took so long. It was eleven kilometers. The water backpacks were worth it .My feet were so sore. We also saw some art the Aboriginals had painted on the rock. At the end we got a reward of ice cream. I'm am nervous for our next walk because it's apparently really hard. Tommorow we are going to do really small tour walks, and after hang around the pool. I hope the walks are not to long because I think our legs with be VERY sore.Read more
