Beaufort was the main filming location for Forrest Gump. Jenny's farmhouse, the school and most of the Vietnam scenes. The famous square and bench is actually in Savannah.

Very cool harbor town with shops and restaurants surrounding a very circular marina. This Island has 6 golf courses and a big tourist area. The PGA tour comes here.

Wild tie up! 50 mph gail force winds on a tiny floating dock in the dark. Stern is hanging out fifty feet. This is what it's all about.
