NB Day 3: Trondheim

I’ve been battling a sinus infection for a while. It came to a head last night. The drainage from my sinuses had turned into a sore throat by this morning. Such an irritant. Feeling rather crappy overall, I slept in while Mui went to breakfast. He acted as butler and brought me something to nibble on.

This was all before the whale encounter I posted in the previous footprint.

Our ship pulled into Trondheim at 9:45a for its scheduled 3-hour call. I was in no mood to go out for a wander, so I bid Mui farewell and went back to bed. He went off to stretch his legs with a walk around the city where Norwegian kings and queens have been crowned through the ages. While he was at it, he stopped at a pharmacy to pick up some meds to help ease my discomfort.

I didn’t even hear him come back, but he was on the ship in time for lunch. He was kind enough to continue butler service with a bowl of soup … and a ‘side order’ of the photos that he took around Trondheim.Leggi altro
