Munich Day 2

Today we had a nice relaxing morning in our apartment. We headed out for lunch at 1:30pm to a cafe where we ate a lovely lunch in their garden. It was a great spot and we stayed for a while.

We then walked through the market square where there is a beer garden and all types of different market stalls. It was pretty quiet after a big weekend of celebrating Munich.

At home we rested and Tegan did some uni work to prepare for class the next day. Steve went out and got beers at the local supermarket (Steve had been planning on heading to Andechs Monastery, a brewery 40 mins out of Munich — it doesn’t look like we’ll get there so he got their beers from the supermarket instead) which is the biggest in Munich inner city and came home to read. Later we went back to the supermarket to get some dinner supplies.

We had a nice quiet night in with reading and uni work.Read more
