    Noosa & Rainbow beach

    April 4, 2022 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 26 °C

We have rented ourselves a little Camper Van for a road trip up the North East coast of Australia. Reasonably comfortable, it has a decent sized bedding area that converts to a table with benches at dinner time, a little sink and cooking area in the back and an Eski to keep our food cool. We invested in a toaster and fan just to make it a little more comfy at night. The bed is a decent size and we sleep well in it, although we are rudely awoke at sunrise by the birds, apparently they have somewhere to be and everyone needs to know about it.

Our first stop was Noosa heads to check out the Noosa National Park and town. Noosa is a small beach town and as we are at the beginning of autumn holiday for Queensland, it was BUSY. We managed to enjoy it, we did a little walk where we saw no koalas but nice beaches and had a nice lunch in the cafés of Noosa. Noosa is a mix of a high-end beach town with a relaxed surfer vibe.

Second stop was 🌈 beach, so called for the multi coloured sands. It was a lot more quiet and we swam in the waves. If you have a 4x4 you are allowed to drive down the beach during low tides and take in the view of the dunes on one side and waves on the others, although there is an official speed limit and speeders will be fined, the fishes are keeping watch 🐟🚓
