No humans except us. 34 degrees... and the bridge at the falls was a sheet of ice and the plants were held prisoner in the frozen mist, which fell on us like snow.
Imagine being in a rainforest that gets over 200 inches of rain per year on a totally sunny day in November. 5.5 miles all in one shot on three different trails! Tired now.
So this chilly morning, we drove to the Hoh Rainforest. The views along the way just got better and better!
A lack of satellite signal kept me from posting... maybe this is 4th Beach? And then there's the 1000 year old cedar.. oh, and Kalaloch.

We rounded the final turn before Rialto Beach and I started to cry. I looked over at Tim. He was crying. What more can you say. 31 degrees....

On the ferry on rough seas under clear skies. And the best part so far is our son-in-law is two cars in front of us on the ferry!
