Voyageur Kind of makes me think of some of the Vietnamese countryside businesses.
Voyageur Lots of parallels in that regard. Missing the constant smell of burning in the air (that Vietnam had in the rural areas).
Voyageur That’s right! The smell of cooking fires. The chairs looked familiar! Although the Vietnamese chairs were smaller, weren’t they?
Voyageur For sure. A little more westernized here. Also, they seem to embrace the tourism. We had many smiles and waves in person but even as our buses roared by people strolling alongside the road or sitting in their cars.
