Emily Embo🇬🇧 Last Days in Auckland After selling Bongo, I moved to a hostel in Auckland's city center. On Wednesday, the three of us went hiking for the last time; luckily, Bi has a car, and we could drive together to the Waitakere Ranges National Park. Here, there are small mountains with beautiful views, forests, caves, and a beach with magnetic sand. So a bit of everything. We hiked for about four hours in perfect weather, exploring the area and playing with the sand on the magnetic back of my phone (see video). Arriving at a mountain top, we sat on a bench and looked out over the sea in the distance, talked about what we've experienced and what's to come. We also enjoyed the silence and just listened to nature. As the sun slowly set, we drove back to Auckland and went to eat at a Malaysian restaurant. The next day, I went window shopping a bit, and on Friday, we met again to watch the sunset from a rooftop bar. On Saturday, I sorted my things because on Sunday, I'm going to the hotel near the airport, which I booked well in advance. Now I realize it's getting serious, I'll just sit in the hotel room and count the hours until the departure. I'm nervous, about what? I don't know. Bi comes around one more time so we all can say goodbye. I'm sure it's not the last time we'll see each other, but who knows when the next time will be. In 24 hours, I'll be on a flight to Singapore, expecting a total of three flights, and I'll be traveling for 35 hours. I'll write again!
PengembaraGuten Flug, 😘 freue mich auf dich 😘
