Read more

More about the home than the city

    May 26, 2018 in France ⋅ 🌬 24 °C

That's the best CS experience ever for me like surely! CS is about getting to know travellers with different ways of life and learning from theirs🤗 (apart from the free accomodation). These days felt like the Andamans after a long long time actually 😍! Nothing to do for a while with the whole world to look at🤗, with a host who doesn't mind laziness 😂, with a dirty apartment allowing disorganization 😉, with board games like chess and poker and a bigass sound system😍 ; life is a heaven!
Day 1 was just about getting to know our super open brave host🤗. The WiFi was a baby😚! Playing chess with Lo was quite challenging 😅 she was quite good. The night we played poker with all of Lo's friends (Lorena) : Louise, Lola, Chris and 2 others🤗. Later we talked for hours about everything 😁. (Chris was super interested in making a million (who ain't)😂)
Day 2 : Just woke up super late and then went to a place to collect some food (thrown out by a nearby supermarket). It was a good lifestyle 🤗 very hard to adopt but #respect! We later watched a very un-cliched movie 'La haine'!
If tastes way better if we add cheese and spices while cooking potato🤗 (good lesson learnt)

I arrived after hitchhiking with a truck driver and a few other people. I couchsurfed with french students, hanged out at their place, explored the beautiful city, had beers and waffles, and went to the premiere of a documentary.Read more
