ПутешественникAre there houses and farms along the roads, or are the residents mostly in the towns, like Cero Sombrero? On the map it looks uninhabited between towns and villages, at least on the Argentine side. The Chilean side looks more inhabited , although scattered. Scenery must be wonderfully wild if that’s the case…or desolate.
ПутешественникFrom Rio Grande along National Route 3 on Argentine side and Ruta 257 on Chilean side, it is mostly flat, tundra like, with low gentle rolling hills. A few isolated farmhouses are scattered kilometres apart, far from the road. The scenery is just majestic, absolutely wild.
