    Someone from my past
    Feelings redeemed
    So much time has passed

    I kept up with her
    We would always be friends

    I went on this cruise
    To learn more about sailing
    I needed more clues
    To understand my potential failing

    Like a jigsaw puzzle
    So many pieces
    I wanted to guzzle
    And make it to the Bahammas

    Work with these colors first
    Or the edges
    I jumped in headfirst
    Little bits and batches

    Over a few days
    It all came together
    I was out of my daze
    And an adventurer

    I knew much more
    About sailing a ship
    I am ready to explore
    With a very tight grip

    Navigation check
    Preventive maintenance check
    Maneuvering the boat check
    Seamanship check

    Years of running businesses
    Problem solving
    Lots of ground it encompasses
    Always resolving

    Issue upon issue
    Mechanical fire
    No reason to argue
    Just had to rewire

    What a great kid
    Well he is thirtyone

    He did so much when called on

    To praise he was deaf

    He kept us afloat
    I think he had superpowers

    I was tired after one hour

    Ready to throw the anchor

    Operating the helm
    He was great crew
    Not easy to overwhelm

    The anchor was no match
    When he yanked it up

    A cramped bathroom
    Not fit for a large man
    There is much gloom
    Not much better than bed pan

    But is is better than nothing
    Unless it stops working
    So you have to be adapting
    A bucket or overboard aiming

    The smell is horrendous
    Just how it is
    Obnoxious and boundless
    Air spray is a compromise

    Helps to some extend
    But it still lingers
    With four men comprehend
    To the head agressors

    Attacking it all day
    Never a rest
    I would have a poor bouquet
    So much to contest

    The shower is not much better
    Barely can fit
    But you have to be a believer
    To be clean so commit

    Get in luke warm water
    Soap and scrub
    Towel off after
    And join cold shower club

    Better to be clean
    Than dirty
    Way better than latrine
    Definitely airworthy

    Not ranking of odors
    Bad personal hygenie
    Do not be freeloader
    Causing many others pain

    Use the tools present
    Make the best of it
    Be agreeable and pleasant
