What struck me most was the variety. In a single day you could pass a French-style castle, a beach that looked like the Caribbean, and a mountain road that felt like the Alps. Vanilla made the journey possible. A campervan is more than a vehicle on a trip like this. It is a home, a shelter against Atlantic winds, a kettle for tea when the rain doesn’t stop. Each campsite, each roadside stop, was made mine because Vanilla was there.
