Veloründeli rauf zum Startplatz in Oia. Letzter Abschnitt auf einem Wanderweg. Viele Rösser überall im Gestrüpp versteckt ... leider ohne Pommes;)
After our adventurous night of camping on the beach we started the 24 km hike to Viana do Castelo. Most of today's walk was through farmlands and rural areas with not that much walking along the coast. There was a fair amount of walking up hills and both Kerry and I felt it, mostly my knees and her ankles.
We weren't in too much of a rush today as we have a place booked at a youth hostel in Viana and was very happy to see that is had tons of great facilities like laundry room, kitchen etc we could use.
The staff there were lovely and they helped us contact a hostel for tomorrow evening which was amazing. After we arrived, we had a much needed shower and then went to explore Viana do Castelo. We were lucky enough to see the end of he of a bike race which is like the Tour de France so that was pretty amazing. Also had a lovely dinner before exploring the local night market and then headed to bed. Very beautiful seaside townRead more
