Days 10-17. We stayed in Tenerife for a week. Our accomodation was in the south part of the island, in Costa del Silencio. We rented a car and every day went to a new place. One day we were in Siam Park, which was voted the best waterpark in Europe or something like that. It was very crowded and for some rides we needed to wait in line for 30-45 minutes. I can't say it was the best experience because of this, but Alex enjoyed it. Also the rides are not to extreme, like the ones we experienced in Thorpe park. Another day we went to Teide and made a tour of the island. The most adventurous day was the one when we decided to do a mountain track in Los Gigantes. We started on a path in the rocky walls of Los Gigantes, not knowing where it goes, how long is it or any other detail. The adventure was complete: we entered several tunnels, climbed some big rocks, seen some incredible landscapes of the ocean and the Los Gigantes walls, got lost for about one hour, called 112, in the end we managed to find ourselves our way and get back to the car after 7 hours. The lady who answered at 112 didn t know English and put me on hold, with some relaxing music, it was like we called to order pizza. We made snorkeling almost every day in a new place, this was also great. We went to a restaurant in a banana plantation which I liked a lot but for Alex it wasn't as interesting as Hard Rock Cafe, where it was some burgers contest. And of course we saw the European Championship's final on our last evening between Spain and England; in a bar full of brits. Spain won.
It was a very nice holiday for team Talex.Read more
