Pengembara Even at one of the places I would consider safe in terms of water reserve the villages tanks were almost dry by the end of the summer. Unused to there ever being a problem with water availability people were still filling their mini pools for the season in their backyards. This had me reflecting on water scarcity as well. Coming from the Sonoran desert to the shores of Cape Breton I was thinking of water abundance. There are springs and rivers galore. But the scarcity is showing up and had I not been staying with locals from there I wouldn't have know about it.
