Two to TravelI have a digital journal that I update daily, but on really long trips I used to have a physical journal in a similar format for quick notes, etc. Nowadays I use the Notes app on the iPad or iPhone … but may go back to a physical notebook for some extended trips in 2023.
ResenärI use the Notes app a lot, as well, but I still enjoy a physical journal for little bits of ephemera, like train tickets, etc. That and photos are my main souvenirs.
Two to TravelMy main souvenir nowadays is digital photos. Although we live in a house now, we were traveling full time in our motor home for 8 years and during that period I got out of the habit of keeping anything paper-based because we had to be careful of weight limits on the chassis. I pretty much take a photo of anything I want to keep anymore and toss the actual item.
