Spraddle Creek

Heute besuchen wir Vail. Der Ort wurde erst 1962 gegründet und ist auch weit außerhalb der USA berühmt, vor allem für seine hochkarätigen Skipisten. Jetzt Ende Mai ist die Ski-Saison gerade vorüber und der Ort fällt in eine Art Sommerschlaf. An verschiedenen Orten werden die Schäden des letzten Winters repariert und Erweiterungen für die nächste Saison gearbeitet. Der Ort wirkt von der Architektur her sehr europäisch.
Hier ist auch die Firma Eye Pieces (Link: https://eyepieces.com) mit einigen Filialen vertreten, sehr außergewöhnliche und exclusive Brillen werden hier angeboten. Wir kommen natürlich nicht drum herum auch dieses Mal wieder reinzuschauen.
