Beautiful weather on the Summer Solstice. Rolling green hills, ancient buildings and magnificent cottage gardens.

Went to the Umberleigh Sheep Show, a field day, on farm, where friends of Kerryn’s were displaying their rams.
Devon, Wales, Cheshire.
Walked across the causeway to St Michael’s Mont, returned by boat. Lunched on Cornish pasties.

Our final day of the coastal walk.
While Julie, Brit & I walked 19km from Porthcurno to Penzance. Julie decided to head back for a look around St Ives, while the rest of us walked on toLeia mais

Views from Lands End across to amazing rock formations and the Sicily Islands, 45 km off the coast.

Just out of Pendeen we walked through the remains of the Geevor tin and lead mines. and then the Iron Age Kenidjack Castle, near Cape Cornwall.

A cruisey 16km walk today, after the rigours of yesterday!. Focusing on the journey, not the destination, which is a good thing as at the end of the day, I led the others astray, getting “lost” inLeia mais
