    4 Days desert tours from Marrakech to Marrakech
    Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
    Our Desert Trip from Marrakech to Dades valley begins with our driver picking you up at 08:00 am from your hotel or riad in our air conditioned 4X4s or minivans (depends on group size). Our journey starts by crossing the high Atlas Mountain to Ouarzazate through the Tizi n’Tichka pass 2260 meters above sea level, giving an awe inspiring view of colorful landscape and the Berber villages along the way. In Ouarzazate, we will stop to visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah and have lunch beside this famous castle of 300 rooms! Afterwards we continue our travels through the palm roads of Skoura palmeraie to Dades valley & the city of roses for dinner & our overnight stay.

    Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)
    Day 2 begins with breakfast then a drive to Todra Gorges passing by Tineghir. Todra is popular for its canyons and its panoramic palm plantations by the river, all of which will be covered & visited. Later on, we continue our trip to Tinjedad for a lunch at a local restaurant, then we proceed to Erfoud ot visit the local fossil crafts workshop. Eventually we will reach the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi (Merzouga Dunes). After checking into the hotel, you will have an hour & a half long camel trek prepared for you at sunset. The trek ends when we reach the nomad camps by nightfall for an animated dinner by the campfire before spending the night in a bivouac under the starry skies of the dunes.

    Day 3: Merzouga – Tazarine – Agdz – Ouarzazate
    Well wake up before sunrise to catch the first glimpses of the sun as it casts its rays of the dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by a breakfast in the camp and a camel trek back to the hotel for a quick shower. Afterwards, we drive to Rissani, a small Saharan town in southeast of Morocco to visit another fossil workshop before continuing to the Agdez & Draa valley junction where we head north to Ouarzazate after crossing the volcanic Atlas Mountains. We will spend the night in Ouarzazate.

    Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
    The final day will also begin with breakfast, then a visit to Ouarzazate’s famous cinema studio known as Africa’s Hollywood. Afterwards we head to the UNISCO Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah where some of the modern classics like gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia & Indiana jones were shot. We will also get the chance to visit the Kasbahs to learn about Moroccan architecture. Finally we will be taking the Tizi n’Tichka pass through the Atlas Mountains to return to Marrakech with a stop at the mountains for launch.

    4 days from Marrakech to Fes

    4 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech to Fez
    Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge:
    After leaving the city of Marrakech behind, we head south over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) while enjoying superb views of the mountains and the Berber Villages on the way. We stop for lunch in a traditional restaurant and visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is a World Heritage site. This famous kasbah has been used as the backdrop for more than 20 films.

    After lunch, we continue through Ouarzazate, which is the gateway to southern Morocco, and continue towards the Skoura oasis, which is a fertile area lined with immense palm groves. Following on from Skoura we arrive at the Valley of Roses.

    Roses are a very important crop booster to the local population. The rose season begins around 10 April and ends around 20 May, depending on climate conditions. The Rose Festival or Moussem of Roses takes place on the second weekend in May and lasts for two days. Many festivities take place, including performances by folk groups and the Miss Roses contest, whose winner then takes part in a procession on a decorated float. Traders from all over the region come to sell their specialties and handicraft products.

    Finally, on this day we arrive at the spectacular Dades Gorge and this is where you will have dinner and spend the night in your hotel.

    Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorges – Merzouga:
    After breakfast at the hotel we depart Dades Gorge and head towards Todra Gorges: a massive fault, rising to 200m in a narrow valley, thickly dotted with palm groves and Berber Villages. After lunch in the gorge, we go further into the Sahara to Merzouga which has the largest natural underground body of water in all Morocco and stands on the edge of the great dunes of Erg Chebbi.

    Day 3: Merzouga – Merzouga Dunes:
    After a leisurely breakfast, you drive to the village of the Negroes, Khamlia. These people came from Sudan and were originally brought north as slaves. You will meet some families and enjoy mint tea with them and listen to traditional gnaoua music.

    Our next stop will be at Mfis, a small village to the south-east of the dunes, close to the coal and copper mines where most of the people in Merzouga used to make their livings.

    Then, after a further stop in Merdane village, we carry on to meet Berber families before driving back to Merzouga to check-in at your hotel.

    In the afternoon, you will mount your camel to cross the dunes and discover one of the secrets of the ‘sea of sand’. Our stop will be in a virgin oasis. Enjoy the silence of the desert, appreciate the natural beauty surrounding you and watch the majestic sunset.

    Spend the evening under a canopy of stars, twinkling with an intensity you may never have seen before. Sleep in traditional Berber tents, jaima.

    Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Fez:
    After breakfast in the desert, we depart to Rissani where we visit the traditional Berber suq and the ruined Kasbah of Sijilmassa Leaving Rissani we travel through the Ziz Valley and Errachidia. We will stop en route for lunch before reaching Azrou where there is a cedar forest which is home to a troupe of Barbary apes then heading to Ifrane which locals call the Switzerland of Morocco, we may have stopped or continue to Fes and drop you off in your Riad/Hotel.

    DAY 1: CASABLANCA – CHEFCHOUEN
    On your arrival, we will visit the largest mosque in Morocco (Hassan II mosque). then we drive to Rabat where we will see the tower of Hassan, the kasbah of Oudaya after we drive to the blue-white town of CHefchouen, overnight in a hotel

    DAY 2: CHEFCHOUEN – FEZ
    After breakfast, we will continue our tour in the direction of Volubilis to enjoy the Roman ruins which extend over a vast area and offer beautiful views over the valley and the hills. After visiting the ruins, we will drive to Meknes where we will have lunch and walk to discover the historical monsters and see the large walls surrounding the tomb of Moulay Ismail. Then we will have to fes for dinner and night in the local riad.

    DAY 3: FES SIGHTSEEING
    Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fez, the oldest of the four “imperial cities” of Morocco. The medieval town of Fes El Bali or “Old Fes” remains complete and is preserved. During your visit to this part of the city, you can visit the exotic Bou Inania Medersa, the Medina and the Kairaouine Mosque, where you can take pictures of the beautiful courtyard of the main gate as well as the famous souks. In the afternoon you can visit Fes El Jdid, or “New Fes” and the Moroccan Museum of Arts. The night is spent in the riad.

    DAY 4: FES – MERZOUGA

    We continue our Morocco tour passing the cedar forests in Azrou. Here we may watch local monkeys living in the forest before we drive to Midelt, which is very famous for mineral products and apples. Then we drive across the Ziz valley. We continue to Merzouga desert where we enjoy a camel ride in the desert by the sea dunes to see the sunset before reach Merzouga desert camp and we will enjoy the night in Sahara desert tents with Berber team.

    DAY 5: MERZOUGA
    After breakfast, you take the camels, ride or walk, as they have everything necessary to make your lunch, which will be prepared in the dunes by your camel man. You will walk around three o’clock in the morning, then three afternoons, return to the bivouac for dinner and night.

    DAY 6: MERZOUGA – DADES
    If you get up early enough, you can watch the sunrise show. After breakfast, you can take a camel ride for a few hours before heading to the Tinghir and Toudgha gorges for lunch. The road runs through Tinjdad and the Toudgha valley. Later, the itinerary continues in the valley of the Dades and the gorges of the Dades for the night in a hotel.

    DAY 7: DADES – OUARZAZATE
    After breakfast, the trip to Ouarzazate continues on the way to Boutarar to visit the Berber nomads in their caves and have a glass of tea. From here, we continue through the Valley of the Roses, You reach the kasbahs of Skoura, Once in Ouarzazate, you will stay in a riad or a guest house.

    DAY 8: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
    After breakfast, the road passes to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, From there, the road continues to Telouet, is located in the middle of the mountains, Tizi-n-Tichka, At the end of the afternoon, we arrive at Marrakesh.

    DAY 9: MARRAKECH

Then we drive to Meknes to explore this important city for Moroccan history and culture. The Meknes tour includes medina, Bab el Mansour and Moulay Ismail’s shrine. Then we drive to Fes where you will spend this night in a local riad/hotel.

    DAY 5: FES
    Today our private Tangier tour continues visiting the medina (the old city). We walk inside its alleys and we visit the Jewish Quarter and the Royal Palace. We will visit the famous tanneries in Fez, worth experiencing. Then we visit the Quaraouine mosque which is considered the first university in the world. We will stay for dinner and overnight in local riad/hotel.

We’ll pass through few Berber villages to reach Erfoud and then Rissani. Then we arrive at Merzouga desert from where we will ride camels to the desert. We will be guided by an experienced camel guide to explore the highest sand dunes in Morocco. We may walk to high dune to watch the sunset over the dunes. After we reach the desert camp we will enjoy dinner at campfire with Berber music and we stay overnight in the desert camp.

    DAY 7: MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL TREK AND OVERNIGHT IN MERZOUGA CAMP
    Today we explore Merzouga Sahara desert in a 4×4 tour. We will visit the Khamlia village where we meet and listen to local Gnawa people, musicians and we will learn about their traditional music. We visit and have some tea with local Nomad families living in the Merzouga desert. We will drive in desert dunes to explore the large desert of Erg Chebbi. We also visit the city of Rissani which is a fortified village and we explore traditional souk. We enjoy a camel ride in the desert in Merzouga with a local Merzouga camel guide to exploring dunes in Morocco. We reach Merzouga desert camp where we will have Berber dinner, we enjoy Berber music and we stay this night in desert tents in Merzouga.

    DAY 8: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGES
    We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast we’ll leave for Tinghir and the Todra Gorges and finally arrive in the Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend the night.

    DAY 9: DADES GORGES – KAALAT MGOUNA – OUARZAZATE
    After breakfast, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna passing the route of the thousand Kasbahs. We’ll visit the Roses valley and also Skoura village. Then we continue to Ouarzazat, “the Hollywood of Africa”. We will visit here local movie studios and also kasbah. We stay overnight in a local hotel.

    DAY 10: OUARZAZATE- AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
    After breakfast we will visit famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, also the UNESCO World Heritage site. Our private Morocco tour continues through the Tizi nTichka mountain pass over the High Atlas mountains. Then we will arrive in Marrakech late afternoon and we stay overnight in a local hotel.

    DAY 11: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR
    Today we will visit the most important historical and cultural monuments and places. The guided tour of Marrakech includes the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace and the famous Jamma el Fna square. After lunch we will walk through the souks and in the afternoon we will have a free program to explore other parts of the city including Gueliz – a new part.
