Last leg of the day 1 walk from to Stony Bay. The afternoon walk from Flea Bay to Stony Bay took us 3h5min....

We finished our first part of day 1 in 4h 15min. Really steep walk up in the clouds and tricky muddy walk down, but we all walked very well!

BP walk - Day 1 - in the bush. Quite tough as a bit muddy from the rain the night before.
From Trig GG to the Bush. Nice easy downhill with beautiful views onc e we got out from the clouds.

Meeting at 17:30 to get our bus transfer to our first lodge. We went shopping before and got a nice meal from La Boucherie from Akaroa.
