Calm day after our exciting trip offshore yesterday. Left the anchorage 8:30 and headed up Delaware Bay. Light to no wind, so under power the whole day. Saw some planes going in and out of Dover AFB.Lue lisää
Trip through the C&D canal went smoothly. We sadly said goodby to our extra crew mate, Dan, at Schaefer's Canal House and continued on our way. Coming out into the Elk River enjoyed a boisterous sailLue lisää
Safely in a slip for the night. Went and got our car from our marina and went out for pizza and groceries.
Yesterday we had a calm run down to the Choptank River, Tred Avon, Trippe Creek. Very nice anchorage we have visited multiple times. Sat tight today as rain was in the forecast - some in the morningLue lisää
A lazy sail yesterday in the Choptank waiting for another boat to join us and then a tuck into Boby Owl Cove. Relaxing evening rafted with friends - moonrise spectacular!
Rain storms predicted so we stayed put yesterday. Good call - had a gully washer. About an inch of rain in 30 minutes. We are the blue dot!

Matkaaja We’ve stayed there. Can be crowded, but it’s a nice stop, very protected.
Matkaaja Richard actually has a friend on Harbor Island there and we used her mooring. Her son came aboard last night.
