Wow, crazy drive but what a view. Surprisingly we felt ok with the altitude. May be due to our campsite being at 8500 ft and we might be accustomed a bit. Will upload more pics later.
We got hailed while visiting family. It got worse as time went on, saw some hail about half the size of a ping pong ball. Tornado warnings were in effect. Made it back to the campsite without issue.Read more
