It’s a quiet late afternoon in this sleepy seaside Galician town. Siesta is now over and the three shops and two restaurants are now open! Time for this!
Tonight we’re staying at Casa Puertas in the seaside Village of Oia, a beautifully restored piece of history. This boutique hotel was once a hermitage serving the Royal Monastery of Santa Maria.
Along the Camino, booking a hotel room for two often translates to twin beds being pushed together. Rod and I fall into them dead tired each night saying, “Good night Ricky!” “Good night Lucy!” 😂
Today Rod & I walked 13 km before stopping at a roadside cafe for drinks, some delicious soup & homemade bread. We sat in the garden with new friends from Calgary, Queensland & Victoria, Australia.Baca selengkapnya
