The Arizona Memorial

We saw a film about the history of Pearl Harbour and the attack by the Japanese in 1941. Then we took a ferry to the Arizona Memorial that sits astride the sunken ruins of the Arizona battleship. Over Czytaj więcej
Hawaiian dancers

We had a three generation Hawaiian family perform singing and dancing on the ship. Each graceful dance told a story of the Hawaiian history and culture.
Kauai, Hawaii

French Polynesian dancers

A group of dancers and singers performed for us in the Princess theatre. What a show! The grass skirts costumes were beautiful and the dancers were graceful.

We took a ferry from Noumea to Amedee Island where we went snorkeling. I had a white and black striped sea kite snake swim about 2 feet from me and as it passed, I slowly move backwards away from it. Czytaj więcej

Mystery Island, visited by Queen Elizabeth II, was a paradise that we reached by tender boats. We went drift snorkeling here to see all kinds of colourful fish and coral. We had a massage in a hut on Czytaj więcej

We've spent our days playing Mah Jong, dice, and cards. I've gone walking on the promenade deck and finished my quilling picture. We enjoyed the Australian Beatles concert and our formal night.
