Wow, 24 million people here, it's crazy! Miles and miles of buildings, high rises for as far as the eye can see. I've never seen anything like it. The architecture is amazing. People aren't to friendly, the language barrier is a challenge but so far it's great! The trip here was brutal as far as the time change. So far day two is starting off great 😊Les mer

The Pu Dong airport is huge. There are two terminals here and each is easily three times the size of SeaTac.

Got into the Jakarta airport around 4, took two hours to get through customs. Now we are waiting for our 1230AM departure to Sorong. Been up since 4 this morning...
We arrive in Sorong at 630 to be picked up by the Samambaia crew and taken to the boat. Probably for a nap!Les mer

Been to several islands and about ten different dive sites. Sally has been snorkeling in many places. The islands are gorgeous and the life underwater is undescribable. Beyond belief. Like some computer generated aquarium for Disney.Les mer

Sorry everyone but no connection through most of the trip. Been diving about three times a day, every day. Sally snorkles as much as she can. The underwater life is astounding. Beyond description, in variety and numbers. After our return, and given some time I will post the better stuff from three cameras and the GoPro. Hundreds of photos above and below the surface. Mantas, morays, sharks, incredible schools of fish and tiny bizarre and gorgeous creatures I've never seen.Les mer
