Visited the Australian Native Botanical Gardens, beautiful wildflowers throughout the garden. Had a great coffee and a piece of sponge roll with quandong jam, beautiful.

Arrived Port Augusta, Camped at the Caravan Park at the head of the Spencer Gulf. Beautiful view across the southern end of the Flinders Ranges. Shunting trains kept going all night.

Took a look around the Amity – the ship that bought the first convicts to Western Australia from Sydney. There were 23 convicts and about as many crew. A very small ship for so many people. TheWeiterlesen
