Dropped the car in Galashiels (free parking on Sunday) and took the bus to Selkirk. A quick coffee in the marketplace we set off on the Borders Abbeys Way.

Drove to Newtown St Boswell and then took bus to Galashiels. Medium length walk with lunch in Melrose. Very tasty mushroom soup at Apple Jam.

Early bus to Hawick so that we could walk anti-clockwise back to Jedburgh with the wind behind us.
