Senj

Im Juni haben wir in Strande unter unseren blauen Zelten gestartet, heute haben wir die fünfundzwanzigste Meeresmaler-Station in Kroatien aufgebaut.
Jens ( der Witzbold) hat auf der Strecke die schöne Stadt Senj entdeckt und wollte dort unbedingt malen. Das Wetter war gestern noch so schaurig, so dass unser Dachgepäckträger jetzt eher eine Badewanne ist. Kurzerhand haben wir Maria, unsere charmante Vermieterin, zum Malen ermuntert. Pünktlich um 9 Uhr endete der Regen und die Sonne schien auf Marias erstes selbst gemaltes Kunstwerk von ihrer Heimatstadt am Meer.
Dem sagen wir ( nach dem letzten Abschiedsbad im 22’C warmen Adriawasser) nun Tschüss und fahren nun durchs Hochgebirge nach Norden.

In June we started in Strande under our blue tents, today we set up the twenty-fifth marine painting station in Croatia.
Jens (the joker) discovered the beautiful city of Senj on the way and wanted to paint there. The weather was so scary yesterday that our roof rack is now more like a bathtub. Without further ado we encouraged Maria, our charming landlady, to paint. Punctually at 9 o'clock the rain ended and the sun shone on Maria's first self-painted work of art from her hometown by the sea.
To the ocean we say (after the last farewell bath in the 22'C warm Adriatic water) now goodbye and drive through the high mountains to the north.Read more
