We rolled in here yesterday, FHU RV sites just across the street from Riverbend Hot Springs right on the Rio Grande River. RV site includes use of hot springs. This place is decorated with lots of Czytaj więcej
Podróżnik Would that the Rio Grande water could be allowed to come down here to Las Cruces. Water ownership and management are major deal in New Mexico and across the southwest.

Hike along Paseo del Rio along the Rio Grande. This is area of old CCC built Fish Hatchery. Today like all the CCC work around Elephant Butte Lake, in shambles, neglect and disrepair. NM has some of Czytaj więcej
Podróżnik While there are so many poor and in need people on and off reservations, I understand NM state government spending funds to help. Yet there’s so much revenue from oil and gas industry and state income taxes, it makes you wonder where it all goes . Clearly not toward BLM,SP, CCC maintenance. Hope you enjoyed the hot springs.
