Driving 5 hours and charging for 1.5 hours? that is horrible, a regular car can drive for 8+ hours and fill in 5 minutes. Waiting an extra 1.5 hours is just bad for a short 5 hour drive. We are still decades away from EV cars having a realistic range. [BigBob]

If nobody starts changing behaviour, our children will end up in disastrous times (massive migration, wars for food and water, ...). If your once or twice a year rush rush to the holiday spot prevails, continue what you're doing. In off motorway usage, my Fiat 500e consumes 11 KWh/100 km, this is the energetic equivalent of 1 liter/100 km with fuel. Adapting a relaxing life style is good for nature and for mental health. 旅行者 I found the fiat 500 hybrid 1L underpowered in Madeira last month on the steep inclines. Wished I had a bigger engine and an automatic transmission.
