Eergisteren een nog veel mooiere plofkip gezien, maar die liep hard weg.

A steady 30km climb to the pass at 3600m. Narrow asphalt, low traffic. Pristine water from a spring. Undecided weather at the top but calm. Chilly at night.

Stopover in a very small (friendly) town.
Small but perfectly formed museum about the Chachapoyas people and the mummies found nearby. And humming birds in the garden off the café over the road.
A small town with a great museum of over 200 mummies and lots of well preserved artifacts from the Chachapoyas culture that were in tombs located by their sacred lake.
