The St Bernardin chapel, named in homage to Bernardin Albizeschi (XIV century), dates from the XVI century. The side door, rue St Bernardin, in solid walnut, is dated March 20, 1581.

We came out on the other side of the Bastion to see more Roman ruins, a small dog park, and a back terrace of The Golden Beef restaurant (we skipped that one). We then continued on the old ramparts toLäs mer
We can see clearly now - the rain is gone.
And so we sashayed (after 14:00 the French don't saunder, so we follow the suit 😉) to the Archeological Museum which turned to be like 100 meters fromLäs mer
Had a very nice and relaxing sleep which was needed after full 1.5 days of travel.
Waking up and looking for a place to have some petit-déjeuner came upon this place.

After taking a bit of rest and much needed shower, we spent the early evening wandering the streets and squares of the Old Town - which is where our apt is.

We are now in Antibes. Trained here at midday and met up with Allen. He is great but pretty shattered.
Antibes great but very busy. Bit of a shock after mountains.

Heute ging es nach Antibes, auch ein Küstenort mit riesigem Hafen und vielen Yachten. Allerdings viel ruhiger und entspannter als Cannes, Nizza und Monaco. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. BesondersLäs mer
