Aschheim

Today I checked out the Olympic Park area. It is a very large area with lots of places to explore. The tower was the highlight for me. The structure is 200 meters tall and the views are amazing. The cost was 13 Euros, and not a bad deal. It was a really hot day and there wasn't a lot of shade, so I only stayed for a couple of hours. Afterwards I went back to the English Garden. That park is so beautiful. I had a coffee and watched the ducks. At 300pm I trekked to my new hotel just outside Munich central. It is a tradeshow/conference area so not a lot to do there. Luckily the train ride into Munich proper is only 15 minutes. After a rest, I visited Augustiner Braustuben for a Mas (1 L) beer, and the mixed meat plate. The food was fantastic.Read more
